Academy-Award winner Sam Mendes is to sit in the documentary directors’ chair for the first time. Mendes is directing a BBC doc telling the story of two members of the British Army’s Film & Photographic Unit who accompanied the troops liberating the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.
